A Very Nice Settlement and Why Its Terms are Confidential

On Behalf of | Feb 27, 2017 | Firm News, Medical Malpractice |

We recently settled a difficult liability case against a hospital, a medical corporation that employed a neurologist, and other parties. Our client suffered a spinal cord injury. Her future needs will be provided for and she is well pleased with the settlement. Pfaff & Gill, Ltd. Trial Lawyers, Matt Ports, and the firm’s staff worked very hard on the case for years.

The amount of money paid, who paid it, and who receives it are details that we won’t reveal nor will the defendants. It might help our law firm get more publicity for people to learn we settled a difficult case for XX dollars, but, in this case, it won’t help our client. Our client prefers to remain private and not receive unwanted notoriety or attention from those who might try to take advantage of someone who has received a substantial settlement. That is why our lips are sealed.
