Loren Michael Legorreta

Associate Attorney
Chicago, Illinois
At Pfaff, Gill & Ports, Ltd., Loren represents people who were seriously injured or killed as a result of medical malpractice, automotive and trucking negligence, unsafe or defective products, and poor maintenance of property. Loren is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Loren joined Pfaff, Gill & Ports, Ltd. in August 2017 and was sworn in to the Illinois Bar in November 2017. Before joining Pfaff, Gill & Ports, Ltd., Loren worked for another premier plaintiff's personal injury firm where he wrote numerous appellate briefs and dozens of dispositive motions for high-profile and complex trial matters that were integral to the clients' recovery.

Loren graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While at Loyola, Loren focused his studies in the areas of civil litigation and trial advocacy, and earned numerous awards related to trial practice and appellate advocacy, including: the 2016-2017 Philip H. Corboy Trial Advocacy Fellowship; the ‘Third Best Brief' in the Appellate Lawyers Association Moot Court competition judged by Federal Illinois Court judges; and a CALI Award for the highest grade in Evidence. Loren was also selected to the law school journal's junior editorial board, and wrote his student article about recent Illinois legislation that would have significantly compromised just compensation for injured workers.

In his personal time, Loren remains actively involved with assisting his former law school trial advocacy team and also volunteers as a trial advocacy instructor for high school students participating in the Howlett Cup, a mock trial competition for Catholic high schools in the Chicagoland area.
