Pending matter against multiple parties on behalf of a 33 year-old man who died when a crane collapsed on top of him at a Central Illinois construction site. Investigation of the site has found that the wire rope used on the boom of the crane snapped, causing the 140 foot boom to collapse and crush the victim.
